The basic device is a “Cable
& Lock” system with a range of fasteners, which are attached
to the equipment being secured. The cable and fasteners
cannot be easily cut, removed or broken with hand tools
such as pliers, shears and hacksaws. Even bolt-cutters
will not sever the cable easily.
The cable is made from high-tensile, braided steel enclosed
in a nylon jacket. Locks, fasteners and other components
are made from high quality and rust-resistant materials
such as brass, stainless steel and aluminium.
A single ‘Cable Lock’ device with fasteners will typically
secure several pieces of equipment within a 1 to 1.5 meter
radius of one another. For example:
- PC, PC contents, mouse, monitor,
keyboard, printer and scanner
- TV, VCR, CD player, DVD player and
decoder
- Secures PC, PC Contents, Mouse, Monitor
and Keyboard
- Fits all types, shapes and sizes
including PCs with sliding or flip-up cases/cover-plates
- Locking flexibility: Individually
Keyed, Keyed Alike, Master Keyed or Combinational
- Strong, flexible, high-tenshile 2M
braided steel cable
- Easily extended to secure nearby
peripherals such as printers and scanners
